Malcolm Phillips – Financial Planner
Malcolm set up the FSP Canberra & Dragonfly Financial Services business over 6 years ago. He has over 20 years in the industry, both in managerial roles and 15 years of advising. His formal qualifications are:

  • Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University, majoring in Accounting & Management Studies
  • Diploma of Financial Planning
  • Specialist Accreditations in Self Managed Super Funds & Aged Care

He is also a registered Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with the Financial Planning Association of Australia (since 2001) and was a member of the FSP Investment Committee for a number of years.
Malcolm has been quoted in the Australian Financial Review, the ASX Website for advisers & Money Management. He is particularly adept at setting up portfolios for clients to maximise their investments. However he is also committed to the concept of evolving lasting relationships with his clients and as such, his only priority is to you, the individual investor.

Luke Smith- Financial Planner
Luke has worked with Malcolm for the past 11 years and has been a planner for the past 6 years. His formal qualifications are:

  • Diploma of Financial Markets, Securities Institute of Australia
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (ADFS)
  • Specialist Accreditation in Self Managed Superannuation Funds

Luke possesses a very strong technical background having been a member of a number of technical committees. He also has a strong knowledge of risk insurances. As such, Luke can not only provide the necessary advice relating to clients investment needs, but also ensure their risk protection is in place.

Barbara Eddowes – Receptionist/Administration
Barbara recently joined us after moving to Canberra with her family. Possessing strong reception and formal secretarial skills, she is responsible for our all important front office functions and is usually the first point of contact with our office.
